Our number one priority

We only use safety equipment of the highest quality and our instructors are specially trained and experienced to ensure your adventure is fun, safe and rewarding.

All participants are required to wear a helmet and participate in a safety briefing before beginning the course. We use the Continuous Belay system so participants are always attached to the course and can only be released by our trained staff in an emergency. This means that if you slip, your harness will catch you, keeping you safe so you won’t fall.

Supervision

One of the great things about Next Level Monkey Business is that you can make your way around the courses independently and be confident knowing that instructors patrolling from the ground are there to offer quick assistance if you happen to get stuck or wish to come down. Our supervising instructors are kitted out with specialist equipment and fully trained to perform rescues from anywhere on the courses.

Do I need to supervise the children in my group?

Yes, anyone under the age of 13 years old is required to have active adult supervision (18 years+) in the park at all times.

If children under the age of 13 years old are left unattended at any time they will be removed from the activities for their safety

Supervision ratios are as follows

Climbers 4, 5, 6 years old
1 participating adult : 2 kids(charged at Cheeky Chimp price)
Climbers 7/8 years old:
Active adult supervision (participation may be required depending on children’s capabilities -1 adult : 2 kids (charged at Cheeky Chimp price)
Climbers 9-12 years old:
1 supervising adult per 5 children
Climbers 13 to 15 years
1 adult to sign in climbers, attend safety briefing and to be easily contactable by phone if not staying onsite
Climbers 16 years and over
Active supervision not required

ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT

Next Level Monkey Business is an environmentally friendly park built with the long-term health of the native bushland in mind. A professional arborist carefully selected the trees on which to build, and ongoing assessments monitor their structural integrity and health. Our structures are designed to avoid damaging the trees and allow them to continue growing naturally.

Next Level Monkey Business staff monitor the courses daily and perform thorough checks on a regular basis.

An annual course audit is performedby an independent companyto ensure safety.
